The unloaded scrap is then segregated for unwanted material like Cast Iron, non-metallic, non-ferrous, etc.
The selected scrap is then weighed and then transferred to Induction Furnace for melting.[/vc_column_text][dt_gap height=”20″][vc_single_image image=”266″ img_link_target=”_self” img_size=”full”][/vc_tab][vc_tab title=”Induction Furnace” tab_id=”1401117720-2-65″][vc_column_text]Selected scrap and Sponge Iron (In-house production) is melted in Induction Furnace. Slag is removed at regular intervals and a sample is taken 2-3 times during melting for Spectrometer Analysis.
Once we achieve the required Carbon level then de-oxidation is carried out.
The liquid metal is then tapped into Ladle with purging arrangement.[/vc_column_text][dt_gap height=”20″][vc_single_image image=”271″ img_link_target=”_self” img_size=”full”][/vc_tab][vc_tab title=”Ladle Refining Furnace” tab_id=”1401119046602-2-6″][vc_column_text]Secondary refining is done in LRF.
